Introduction

Lucy Patton

Updated: Nov 6, 2023

Hi there! My name is Lucy Patton, and I am a second year student at Drexel University. This term, I am working with Dr. Mark Boady to develop a system that will generate Steiner Triples through a variation on the N-Queens problem solved by a SAT Solver. This work will be based on an algorithm presented in this paper that seems to have never been attempted. The goal of this project is to investigate whether this approach is a feasible way to identify Steiner Triple systems.

As the term progresses, I will be updating this blog at least once a week with either an update on my progress on the project, an explanation of some aspect of the project, or both. I hope you will follow along on this journey with me!
